 | I proposed to my soon-to-be-wife on April 22, 2017 at The Odysea Aquarium in Scottsdale, Arizona in front of the Otter Exhibit. Knowing that this day was already going to be a fun and exciting day, I planned to take full advantage of the situation. I briefed my future-in-laws on my plans to get their thoughts on the idea. They were more than happy and excited to be there to witness the amazing moment when their little girl would get engaged. With the plan set and everybody anxious for the moment, it was amazing that we were all able to hold it in and not give it away that there was something special planned. As we walked through the aquarium, getting closer and closer to the moment; the happiness grew with each step. When the time had finally arrived and we had reached the exhibit, I had no doubt in my mind that I had found the woman I wanted to spend my life with. After she spent her time admiring the little otters up close, she came back over to the group. Walkng back with tears of joy in her eyes for finally getting to see otters in person after awhile, I took her in my arms for a hug. Knowing that she was now filled with as much excitment as I was feeling; it was time to make my move. Without hesitation, I took a step back and while kneelng down, pulled the little box out of my pocket. On one knee I asked this beautiful woman if she would marry me and make me the happiest man for the rest of my life. Without hesitation, she said that three letter word that gave me the best feeling in the world. Yes! Clutching each other in each other's arms embracing the happiest moment of our life. Family all near by to witness this happy moment, live and recording to show those who couldn't be. I felt so amazing to take that next step that shows that I'm serious about us and shows how much she means to me. |
