Kristin and Johnny met on eHarmony... yes, you read that right we met online! It does work and we are still awaiting a call to do one of the eHarmony TV commercials. :)

We were a perfect match from the start with a list of common interests that ran off the page so you had to scroll down to see them all. All the answers and all the questions were what we were looking for in a lifelong partner. The emails flowed into pages daily and soon we decided to meet for our first date.

For our first date, we went to dinner in Raleigh (sort of a mid-way point between where we each live). The highly recommended Italian restaurant was mediocre at best and at one point we thought a train was going to run right into our table!  However, the microbrewery and dessert locations were right up each of our alleys.  Neither of us wanted to part even though we both had to work the next day.

We continued to date and spent more and more time together. Johnny was able to meet Kristin’s Mom, brother and sister-in-law over the Summer. Kristin was able to meet some of Johnny’s (very large) family at his parents’ 50th wedding anniversary celebration in November in New Mexico.
