It all started because of the encouraged from a mutual friend for Tyler to text Hailey a random text that didn’t make any sense. They didn’t know each other when they had their first conversation and it was via MySpace (yes it was that long ago) that they became friends. The shy 15 and 16 year olds that they were didn’t talk in person for the first month of their friendships. They would pass by each other in the halls of Dunkirk High and smile and smirk at each other, to shy to make conversation in person. The MySpace messages and texts back and forth after school slowly grew into passing notes in the hall. After getting to know each other and becoming good but silent friends, they finally worked up the courage to speak one on one. Their friendship flourished very quickly. They knew more about each other than most people did and it was because of Hailey’s high school softball team that that had their first kiss. Right in her neighbors driveway as all the boy crazy teenage girls peaked through the curtains. Tyler and Hailey’s liking for one another began to grow. Who would have thought that this very moment would be replicated 6 years later as Tyler proposed to Hailey in that same spot in front of all of their closest friends and family?
