Our story began on September 14th 2013... One day a co-worker of mine at the time had a party at his house  for the Mayweather VS. Canelo fight. I remember that i didnt really want to go, but I was bored, and they had free beer... so i went. The same co-worker was dating one of Whitney's friends so later that night this group of "white girls" came in... and they all stuck out like a sore thumbs because every single person at this party was Hispanic. When they arrived we were setting up to play a game of beer pong, after a few games I noticed Whitney play and that she was actually really good... for a girl. So i asked for next game. Then we played against each other a few times, and while we were playing i heard one of my favorite songs come on and then Whitney started singing it. It intrigued me (10 years- wasteland). We played again and then it was time for a cigarette break, and being a non-smoker i just went outside so that I could talk to Whitney. We talked, we laughed (because my co-workers were calling me "Ray Ramono"...even though we all know there is no resemblance). Then she made a mistake... she brought up music, and when i have a few drinks i get chatty. I saw my chance, so i took her out to my car to show her some of my favorite music, and we listened to music for hours, and I kept bombarding her with music. Then we got out of the car and just stayed out side and talked more and by the time we look at the time it was already six A.M. ( I didn't know at this time that she had a daughter), so she said she had to go and didn't want her to but before she left she gave me a kiss and i guess you can say it was all fireworks and stuff. The next day she sent me a text at 10 the next morning (I get it now...she had a 2 year old) but i didn't answer until 6 at night because I was sleeping and hungover. I just woke up to find that she had text me a few times.I was hoping she didn't think i was ignoring her so I quickly text back and we started talking everyday for that entire week. That led to me finally asking if i can see her again. We met up at standpipe coffee house downtown and we talked for hours. We learned how many people we knew and that both of us are friends with and how we never crossed paths until now. Before we were leaving they were still remodeling the Angelina hotel and i said that we should both sneak in,  she didn't want to, but i still did so she stood outside to keep watch for me while i was exploring and when I came out she said she had to go. I remember hoping that i didn't scare her away because of me trying to be funny and asking her to go in an abandoned  building... i thought i blew it. But, then we started hanging out even more and then i finally worked up to asking her the big question... if she would be my girlfriend. She said yes...obviously..which made me the happiest person ever, I am not so good with words as you all know so I can't explain.. Our first date i took her to see the Ghostbuster movie at the old pines movie theater and then after the movie, we walked around talking about history and about being raised in downtown Lufkin all my life. I knew everything about downtown, and she seemed to love all of the information. Then I asked her if she would want a good view of Downtown, she agreed she would go in a building with me, so i took her inside the Perry building at the top floor finding the roof has been locked but still somewhat a good view. After that date, she finally decided it was time for me to meet Madison..so we made a date for the zoo, and i fell in love instantly with this beautiful little girl. After that came friends, family, etc and through out this journey she has taught me many things that i never knew about myself, and how to do before and you, could truly say that I am the luckiest person in the world.
