Hey everyone, it's me Tyler, yeah Tyler Vasquez, the gentleman marrying Daisy, the second runner up after Ryan Reynolds for Sexiest Man Alive on People Magazine.

Anyways, we have some important things to cover for attending the wedding. So as you know you will have the option to sail out after the wedding which is concerned the "cruise". If you are someone that is going to be sailing out after the wedding you are considered a "sailing guest" so be aware of the things to know here in just a second.

If you are a person who is "not" going to be sailing out after the wedding and you will be leaving after the wedding and reception are over than you are considered a "non sailing guest" and there is some things to know for you as well.

So, this next part is going to be lengthy but it is very very important for you to know prior to the big day. So here we go!

  • Please arrive at the port no later than 10:00a.m. This applies to all guests as well.
  • Carnival Cruise Lines has prepared a wedding check in desk for your convenience, and to expedite the check in of your guests, both sailing and non-sailing. It is located downstairs at the entrance to the terminal.
  • All non-sailing guests must have their driver’s license or passport, or security will not allow
them to board the vessel. This is a Coast Guard regulation, and there are no exceptions.
  • All non-sailing children must have a birth certificate or a passport in order to obtain a visitor’s
    pass.
  • Please be aware that there may be traffic due to passengers disembarking. The Port police have
made provisions to allow all bridal parties to proceed to baggage drop off.
  • Non-sailing guests will be directed to the short term parking facilities. The fee is $8.00 CASH.
  • It is imperative you tell the police you are at the port for a wedding, so they may direct you to an expedited lane.
  • For sailing guests, after checking your bags, you will be directed to park your car in long-term
parking. The fee is $45.00 for a 5-day cruise paid in CASH. You will then ride the shuttle bus to the terminal.
  • A wedding coordinator will meet and escort the group upstairs to proceed through security.
  • All sailing guests must arrive at the terminal completely dressed for the wedding, as the cabins may not be ready (as bridal parties pre board early). The bride and groom’s cabin will be ready, and the attendants may dress with the couples if desired.
  • All checked baggage will not arrive at cabins until late afternoon, so make sure you carry on
    everything necessary for the ceremony.
  • After passing through security, we will proceed to ticketing. It is necessary the sailing booklet be
completely filled out prior to arriving at the port.

Ok everyone, if you have never been on a cruise, so if you are a "sailing guest" and you have never been on a cruise before you must read and make sure you remember the next important information because it is very important.

  • All sailing guests must have a valid driver’s license. In addition to this, proof of citizenship; a
passport, OR a certified birth certificate, with a raised seal. A photocopy of a birth certificate or
a hospital birth certificate will not be accepted.
  • In the event a sailing guest does not drivers license a state ID card will be accepted.

Wooooo, that was a lot of information. A lot to read but very very important to know. And don't worry if you get confused or still have questions you can reach out to me or Daisy. The only thing is we have just one more section to go over and it is the "No No's To Know" in regards to Carnival's rules for getting on the boat and attending the wedding so let's go over them.

BIG WHOMPING NO NO'S TO KNOW...

•Bubbles, rice, confetti, wish lanterns, balloons, candles, bird seed, bird feathers and/or fresh rose petals will not be allowed at any wedding
•Personal cake servers, and knives not be allowed
Fresh flowers can only be boarded through an authorized vendor but cannot be taken off of the ship
•Matches are prohibited for use onboard
•Natural sand and sea shells are restricted for boarding
Personal steamers are not authorized for use onboard
Liquor of any kind is prohibited. Please do not test this, do not try to be sneaky like Swiper from Dora the Explorer and try to sneak liquor on the boat.
Guests are unable to debark the ship with food items including cakes
Horns and drums are not authorized for wedding entertainment
•Guests are not authorized to operate Carnival’s shipboard equipment nor instruments

I built up an apetite just typing all this out for you guys lol. But that pretty much covers it all. The only thing Daisy and I ask is that we really look forward to seeing everyone there but we do ask that you do not bring surprise guest with you that you haven't disclosed. Carnival has a number of guest policy that we need to make sure we are in accordance with and we don't want anyone to not be able to attend. The checkin will be looking for guest that are on the list and lastly we ask that if you choose to surprise our day even more with a gift that you make arrangements with Daisy or myself prior to the day of the wedding. Gifts will have to go through customs and screening and it can be a struggle with customs. So please try to reframe from bringing gifts and just reach out to the soon to be Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan, oh, I mean Tyler and Daisy.
