I will be sending out bridal shower and wedding invites this weekend. We are asking that everyone rsvp by June 1st. Everyone will only be alotted 1 guest since there can only be a certain amount of non sailing guests allowed on the boat. We apologize if this is an inconvience to anyone, but more people are welcome to join us for any pre wedding events or activities we may engage in since we will be in Florida the Thursday before the wedding. Also large gifts and some presents will not be allowed on the boat depending on the weight and type of gift. We are asking that those of you who want to get us a gift please give gift cards or send the gift to our home since we will be sailing off for a week right after the reception. The brides favor store is bed bath and beyond and the grooms is best buy! We will appreciate all of you coming to support us!

We are about 5 months away from the wedding and it is all sinking in fast! I have my dress and shoes and all of the bridesmaids dresses are ordered! We are waiting on the maid of honor to pick and order her dress. We are registered at 2 places: Macy's (#6314057) and Bed Bath and Beyond! We also welcome gift cards If you would like to get us a gift! I am busy getting last minute things for myself and focusing on the bridal party. It is stressful but I am trying to enjoy the moment, it will all be over really soon. I am counting down the days until we set sail, 1st stop the Bahamas in 146 days!

The tenative date for my bridal shower will be Saturday June 6, 2015 1pm at the Macy's conference center. The theme is a tea party so come dressed to impress and ready for some fun! I am excited about the shower because it will be in Macon and a lot of people who will not be able to attend the wedding can come. The invites will be out in the next couple of months along with the wedding invites. Please RSVP ASAP for the wedding. I must have exact names of people in order to have entry to the boat. They will keep your IDs at the door so please don't forget them!

We recommend that all of our guests arrive the day before our wedding since everyone has to be at the port at 10am the day of our wedding, July 18th. I have been looking into some hotels that are close to the port. You are more than welcome to stay where ever you would like but my top 3 choices closest to the port are Radisson Resort at The Port, Residence Inn by Marriott Cape Canaveral Cocoa Beach, & The Country Inn and Suites by Carlson, Cape Canaveral. There are plenty of great amenities and great prices. They all offer book now and pay later options and shuttle rides to the port. Happy booking! 😉
