The most popular questions people ask you these days are "what’s your story?" and, “how did you meet?" Dustin and I met while working, I had just started in the ER at the hospital in my home town when he had brought in a patient in while working on the squad. I had caught a smile from him and it was obvious he got one from me! During that day there were many questions we both had as to whom that is, thinking to ourselves. It was not long until Dustin had sent me a dozen red roses asking me on a date. Clearly I said yes! September 26th, 2009 we went to dinner at the Olde Mohawk in German Village. Afterwards, we attended Oktoberfest, Which being from a small town, I had never heard of. After Oktoberfest, we went bowling and it was the perfect spot to just relax and have fun. There couldn’t have been a better ending to that first date, and it was memorable just sitting in the car at Schiller Park where we had met earlier in the evening, and we had our first kiss just as it began to rain. Little did we know that night, we had just kissed the person we would be spending the rest of our lives with!

July 24th, 2010 started just like any ordinary day but quickly became the most exciting, life changing moment of my life! We had been rushing around cleaning all morning because our families were on their way to visit us. Little did I know, everyone but me knew what was on the way! Dustin and I have been working on building a walk in closet to put all my things in, and had just finished it the night before. I reached to open the closet door to put my laundry away, and the moment I opened the door I got a flash from the sun hitting the diamond that was waiting for me. At that moment my heart began to race and I turned around to find Dustin on one knee reaching for my hand. Tears began to fall, and "YES" is all I kept saying as I wrapped my arms around him.It was the most magical feeling of my life!

We are so blessed to have found each other, and are very excited about planning for our big day and can’t wait to see what our future has in store!
