Cody and Rusty met through OKcupid, and chatted for several weeks, both too nervous to ask the other one out. When Cody stepped up and asked Rusty for dinner, both ended the evening knowing it was their last first date. 

The two went with the Adventure Judaism group to Moab, UT for hiking and Passover celebrations. Before the event began, Rusty and Cody went on a sunrise hike to the Corona arch, where Rusty proposed. After clarifying that Cody's answer of "....yeah" did indeed mean "yes", the boys welcomed Passover with a group of friends and had a traditional Jewish engagement ceremony by the campfire.
