Our story is pretty funny….

We had been Facebook friends for at least a year prior to us meeting. Chris saw a tag at a local Sushi spot he liked and noticed that Yessi was pretty so he sent her a friend request via Facebook.  Yessi thought Chris was someone she went to school with in Hawaii so she accepted his Facebook friend request. Even though we were friends on Facebook we never spoke to each other.

Time goes by and we both ended up on the newly single’s list (both got divorced).

A couple of weeks after Yessi got divorced Chris asked her out. Naturally since we had never spoken before she had no idea who he was but he did mention that he used to work with her brother Hector at Publix. At the same time Chris was asking Hector’s permission to ask his sister out. Hector’s initial reaction was which one? I have two sisters….. lol   

Chris had been following Yessi’s moves on Facebook for a while and took a chance on asking Yessi out on a date. Yessi accepted his invitation and a couple of days later we met at Bahama Breeze.

That magical moment at Bahama Breeze sealed the deal. We laughed together and realized we had a lot in common. The date came to an end. We enjoyed each other’s company so much that he asked her over to his house to watch a movie.

Instead of watching a movie we stayed up all night talking about our passion’s, our past, our fears, and on and on and on. Since the first day we met we have been together since. Now we are on our journey to spend the rest of our lives together as a family.
