David and Veronica met through her cousin Fernie who happened to be one of David's best friends. Growing up as Fernie's neighbor, David was fortunate enough to get a taste of the "Estala" family and their upbringing. However, it wasn't until 2004, (with Fernie living in New York) that they were finally able to get to know one another. They spent the next couple of years traveling and learning about each other. With their taste for travel, fun, and family, on New Year's Ever 2006, David proposed to Veronica in San Diego, CA. With a beach front proposal, they both agreed to one day have a beach side wedding with family and friends. With lots of prayers and wishes on May 24th 2008, they were blessed with their little miracle, Jayden Alexander Gutierrez. Together, through patience, hard work and determination the long awaited day will soon arrive!

We are so excited to have our friends and family join us on our wedding cruise in the Carribean! With so many fun things to look forward to, we hope everyone will enjoy creating their own special memories. There will be plenty of optional excursions to do on each island, however, we are asking to please save Thursday the 18th for a day full of wedding activities. Immediately following a beach side cermony, a reception will take place along the Grand Cayman ocean. This will allow ample time to take pictures and explore the island. Following the reception, we will continue with a two hour coctail hour on board with music and celebration!
