Our Story
Joe and Lauren...most people wouldn't know where to begin when asked about the two of us. It feels like a lifetime ago when we first met, just two kids without any wisdom about life or what the future would hold. We were young, free, and searching for our place in the world. We fell in love...that teenage love that makes you believe that food, water, and shelter are of no need as long as you have each other. We were everything to one another and would later find out that it would last forever. It was a beautiful connection, a heart pounding, breathless, desperate and all consuming love. So began the adventure...proof that opposites do attract. I remember admiring qualties about him and longing to see the world through his eyes. I soon realized men were from mars and that book wasn't written as a joke. As we grew together we loved hard, we fought harder, and made our fair share of mistakes. We fumbled through our experiences with only the certainty of the love we shared. We have known pure joy, sadness, fear, separation and even tragedy throughout the years, but our love never changed. It evolved and we grew stronger, so we sit here today certain that we have found our soulmate in each other. So we have chosen forever, more in love than ever before. So when we are racing our wheelchairs (already planned ) someday, we will look at one another and know that our love was always enough.
Our Wedding
On May 15th, 2010 on Coronado beach we will exchange our ultimate commitment... finally!!! Surrounded by the blessing of our beautiful children and all of the people who love and support us the most. It will be a day like no other, and we are anticipating sharing it with all of the wonderful people in our lives!
Our Reception
We hope our reception activites are a departure from tradition much like the life we share. It will be an exciting day, full of memorable experiences, and we are so excited to have you along for the ride!
A Special Message From Us
Joe and I want to express our appreciation for the love and support we receive each and every day. It means so much that all of you are willing to travel and dedicate this time to share this experience with us. This day has been a long time coming, and for many of you (Mom and Dad) I know you are relieved it is happening after so many years. We are a strong couple through the support, advice, and your faith in our future together. There is no amount of words to express how we treasure the commitment, support, and excitement that is being shown towards our wedding experience. We are so very lucky to be blessed with so many wonderful people who not only love us, but our children as well. Thank you!
