Laura and David met when David's daughter enrolled at Laura's daycare in 2004. We kept in touch over the years through Briana and Jessica's friendship, going to each others birthday parties. But it wasn't until the end of 2008 when we began dating and quickly found out that we were meant for each other. We began combining our families, David and his two children, Briana and Sapphire, moved in with Laura and her three children, Joshua, Jessica, and Samantha. We got engaged September 18th, 2008 and quickly began thinking of Wedding ideas. We both are excited about the idea of getting married on the beach and having the beautiful blue ocean in the background as we say our vows.

Our Wedding is planned to take place on the beach in Ochos Rios, Jamaica on October 15th, 2009. It will be our 6th day at sea. Before the Wedding, we will be setting sail October 10th from Miami, FL. We will enjoy a day at sea, before what we hope to be an exciting day of adventure, in Cozumel, Mexico. We will have another day at sea, followed by a day in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. Finally we will get married in Ochos Rios, and then get one final day at sea before we have to rejoin reality. See below for travel arrangements for anyone interested in joining us on the cruise.

Our marriage is not only the joining of a man and a woman, but of an entire family, with five children involved. With that in mind, we chose to have our reception at PowerPlay, a family entertainment center for a day of fun, food, and celebration. The reception will be held Saturday, October 24th from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. After about 30 minutes of visiting we will begin by enjoying a buffet at 4:30, with salads, pastas, pizza, and Mexican entrees, with cake and wedding cupcakes for dessert. PowerPlay is a family entertainment center with a kid’s play zone, arcade games, mini-golf, laser-tag, go-karts, bowling, and kid rides. Everyone will receive a 3 hour unlimited play time card, loaded with $5 for "ticket redemption" games (i.e. skeeball, etc.), for everyone to play and enjoy starting at 6 p.m.. The cruise line is Carnival Cruises. The name of the cruise ship is the Carnival Liberty, setting sail October, 10th from Miami, FL returning October 17th going to the Western Caribbean which includes stops in Cozumel, Mexico, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, and Ochos Rios, Jamaica.
