On December 3, 2017 while on a cruise to the Carribbean, Tyler got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! There is no words to describe how surprised and excited I was! He waited until the first elegant night of the cruise and right when the photographer was about to take the first picture, he said "hold on, I have a special pose for this picture." He then turned to me and got down on one knee and pulled out a ring. Tears in our eyes, I said yes and everyone around us started cheering! I am still amazed at how perfect he planned everything!

After putting God first in our lives in four years of dating I knew in my heart it was time to move forward in our relationship. We had been on a couple cruises together up to this point and absolutely love them. We planned another cruise and I decided to buy a ring! Amanda is the absolute worst person to try and surprise, she has a way of always figuring them out. Marriage has of course been talked about between us so I had to really dig deep to pull off this surprise. We arrived at our hotel the night before the cruise and I started an argument with her and that lead to me saying how could we ever get married if we can't agree on these small things c(; that ended our night hahaha. Let me tell y'all I sold that argument so well she had no idea what I had in store! So we board the ship we're finally talking again haha and started our vacation. the second night aboard was elagant dining night and I knew THIS WAS THE NIGHT!  We get all nice and fancy like and my future wife was looking fabulous. Before we go to dinner they have all these picture booths set up and I told her to pick her favorite, my heart was pounding out of my chest while we were waiting in line and finally its our turn. The photographer was instructing our posess and by the third picture I told him hold on I have a special pose for this one and i got down on one knee and made the best decision of my life!
