We met each other back in 2006 during the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. We fell instantly in love and have been together since then, although living apart as Jordan lives in Ontario, Canada where he is a Major Corporal in the Canadian Armed Forces, and Tanya lives in Phoenix where she owns her own medical billing service.

We became engaged in 2009, when Tanya proposed to Jordan upon hearing of his deployment to Afghanistan.

This past December, 2011, Jordan surprised Tanya by showing up at her doorstep in Phoenix, dropping to his knees and officially proposing to her. He then handed her their wedding invitation for the wedding that he surprise planned for them, and it would take place 2 weeks later.

The wedding was held in Ottawa, Canada on December 28th, 2011. It was a beautiful winter white wedding as the seasons first snow storm happened the night before the wedding.

The wedding and reception went fantastically well. Due to the timing and since Tanya's family couldn't be there for the wedding, a second reception is planned in Las Vegas, USA on Friday August 3rd, 2012 and will coincide with BARGE, which is an annual poker tournament that holds a special place in our hearts.

We sincerely hope that all of their friends and family members will join them to celebrate their previous nuptials and are looking forward to the celebration that will rock downtown Vegas!

We will leave for our honeymoon after our Vegas reception, on 8/5/2012, and will head off to Los Angeles where we will embark on a 7 day Mexican Riviera Carnival Cruise vacation. We have always enjoyed cruising together, and we look forward to the wonderful time that we know we are going to have!
