I was born in Cortland, NY and raised in Homer, NY. Homer Junior High School is actually where I met Derek, and we began "dating" for the first time. I can remember our first kiss like it was yesterday (even though he had to beg me) I smooched him quick and proceeded to run off the bus. Like many other young couples we drifted apart, and I moved to another town. I had my first son Zaidyn at the age of twenty and that was the day I met my first true love! When Zaidyn was almost two years old I reconnected with Derek, but wouldnt let him get too close because I never wanted to give anyone the power to hurt my son or myself. Here we are almost seven years later, and Derek is still proving to me every single day that he is never going to leave us. After four years of dating Derek and I welcomed our second son into this world, Corban Ray. We truly believe that Corban was the "missing puzzle piece" to our family. Three years later we are months away from our wedding, and for that I couldn't be more excited. Life has not and probably never will be easy for our little family, but we make it work.

I enjoy working, playing golf, playing basketball, video games, but most of all I love being home with my family. When I think of marrying Tandra, I think of my family finally being complete. There is nothing I want more in this world than to spend the rest of my life with her and our boys. Tandra has been my rock for seven years, shown me love, and tough love, but she has always wanted what was best for me. Tandra is and always will be my best friend, I cannot imagine my life without her.
