We've been together over 4 years and counting, but did you know that we first met each other way back in 2009? It's true! I bought a house in Port St Lucie that year and as any new homeowner I basically lived at Home Depot. I was in that store everyday, if not twice a day during my first year of home ownership. I met John for the first time in the lumber department. I wanted to change out the wire shelving in my kitchen pantry for some nice wood shelves. He helped go through several sheets of wood to find a nice one for me and then cut my shelves to the exact size I needed. After that I'd always say hi when I was shopping and saw him in the store. In 2014 I went through some major personal changes in my life and I had no idea what the future had in store for me. Little did I know that 6 years after we first met we would start dating in 2015. In May of 2017 John proposed to me among the beautiful trees and waterfalls in Yosemite National Park. And now here we are in 2019 getting married! Many of you know that we love to travel, so it made perfect sense for us to have our wedding on a cruise ship and then sail right off on our honeymoon. |
