 | Fast-forward 13 years, a house, and two more kids later. We decided to head to Saint Pete for date day. The plan was to get lunch and take a walk around the park. After a quick google search, we decided to eat at "The Hanger." A cute restaurant by the airport. As we were heading to a park Jimmy made a what seem like a spur of the moment decision to visit the near-by Dali Museum. I was hesitant, as we had been wanting to bring the kids. After I gave it a second thought, I agreed to go if we purchased the membership. We browsed the museum and ended up in a tour group. We got to the "Discovery of Americas by Christopher Columbus" and the guide mentioned many believed this painting was about beginnings, old beginning and new beginnings. The tour was soon over and Jimmy lead me over to a private wall, next to the painting that the sparks first went flying. He got down on his knee and asked me for forever. I first said how did I not know this was going to happen. Then I said yes!!!!! We had our first beginning, and our new beginning in front of the same painting. The ring had an Emerald stone, which is both of their birthstones. It is dainty and ABSOLUTLY perfect for somone who is clumsy and has shaky hands.
