How We Met

These two met in the most unpredictable way. The fall of 2010, it was the last day of midterms/finals. Monteza and Jonathon completed their exams went to work and headed to a mutual friend’s house party to let a little steam off. Both with beverages in their hands Jonathon approached Monteza and asked her how she was doing and they chatted it up a little. The two didn’t think much of it after that night. But shortly after the encounter Monteza was walking to school one day and Jonathon stops her and the two reconnect.

Our First Date

During Christmas break of 2010 they had their first date. Both were broke college students at the time so Jonathon decided to cook for Monteza.  He swept her off her feet with Salmon, Rice Pilaf, and Broccoli. After their meal they stayed up until 3 AM playing Super Mario Brothers and Jonathon knew from that moment on this girl is pretty special.

Our First Apartment

December 2012, Jonathon moved to Atlanta to pursue his career. January 2014, after a year of long distance, the two could not stand to be apart and Monteza moved to be with Jonathon and they were in their first apartment together.

Our First Home & The Proposal

January 13th, 2016 Jonathon and Monteza bought their first home. January 14th, 2016 Jonathon brought Monteza to the newly purchased home and proposed to her in what is now known as his “Man Cave”.
