Danny and I planned our trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn for November 8-10th, 2013. Danny had never been so I couldn't wait to show him around. He had mentioned one place in particular that he wanted to visit while we were there. So on Saturday evening, we decided to make the drive to Clingman's Dome. Of course, I took too long getting ready, so by the time we made it up the mountain the sun had already set (He was trying to catch it at sunset). But, you could still see the outline of the mountains and you could see the lights of the town below! It was BEAUTIFUL. That's where he got down on one knee, said some of the sweetest things then asked me to be his wife!!! Of couse, I said YES!!!

We took a weekend getaway to Pigeon Forge, Tenn November 8-10. The first day there we spent all day in Pigeon Forge shopping, eating, and visiting different places. The next day we spent in Gatlinburg. Both days were amazing and we had the best time with each other. We went back to the cabin to get dressed for dinner that afternoon, and I told her that I wanted to visit Clingman's Dome before we went to dinner to try and catch the sunset. It is the highest point in Tenn. We rushed to get ready, but unfortunately by the time we got ready and made the crazy drive up the mountain the sun had already set. Not exactly what I wanted, but I had already made my mind up that this was the time and place to ask her to marry me. Although it was night time, you could still see the outline of the mountains and the towns below. We were alone and I felt the time was perfect so after I poured my heart out to her I got down on one knee and asked her to be my wife. She said yes and made me the happiest person on earth!
