Sunday, August 4 2013. 

This particular Sunday, Matt was meeting with the youth praise band after leading Morning Worship for the Contempory Worship Service. About 3 p.m. he met me and wanted to show me a place he had found the day before, at this point I had no idea where we were going. Matt took me to the big pond in Senioa. He had a picnic packed for us and a gift bag for me. (Sidenote: Matt isn't the biggest fan of picnics but I am and he wanted it to be a very special day). 

So after we ate, Matt had me open the gift bag which had a shirt (specially made), reading "Keep Calm and Marry Matt" he then got down on one knee and asked if I would marry him. Of course I said YES, and we both couldn't be happier!! 

With our families being spread throughout the East Coast, and wanting to have the wedding and honeymoon close together, Matt and I have decided to get married aboard the Carnival Fantasy Crusie Ship on December 9, 2013. 

After our arrival home, we can't wait to celebrate with family and friends at a venue TBD for our reception. Our plan is to show a video of our wedding ceremony during this time. 

Matt and I would like to thank all of our family and friends for simply being here for us. You all have done so much and have made such a remarkable positive difference in our lives.
