| | | Sara invited me to go for a hike March 6th, 2015. I really needed a workout and I was going to be in the area needing to kill time before I had a hair appointment so I agreed to hike Camelback. Plus I hadn't seen them in awhile. When I got there I met Dan, he seemed really quit but nice. We quickly realized that we were probably going to stick together.. me, I am just competitive with everyone so I wanted to beat him up the mountain. I'm pretty sure he was thinking the same thing because we hauled ass up the mountain and before we know it we had left Sara and Taylor behind. We had some good conversation up the mountain. We got to the top (I'm pretty sure I beat him) and figured we should head back down in case Sara and Taylor had stopped and didn't want to make it to the top.. Sara did end up wanting to turn around (it's a tough hike and it was warm). We made plans to meet up that night for beer and wings. Got to dinner and he seemed a little shy but funny. I did notice he was checking me out.. I took them all back to the Saban house to drop them off. I was looking for a hiking buddy during the week so I asked Dan if he wanted to try hiking at San Tan Mountains and maybe we could take our dogs. At this point, it was strictly a friend thing. So that next Thursday we met up for another hike with the dogs this time. As we walked, we talked the whole time and he intrigued me. But that was IT. It wasn't until our next date where we hiked flat iron that it was really solidified that we were interested in each other. And here we are a year and half later getting ready to tie the knot. |
 | | So around the middle/begining of 2015, I was beginning to get my dicked up life back in order. Taylor (my long time work partner and groomsman) kept putting the bug in my ear of his wife's best friend Maegan and that I had to meet her. I was a little intimidated by how far in life she was and I had just hit the reset button about a year and a half prior. So on the morning of March 2nd, I was told that Maegan is going hiking with us and to come to peace with it. The next day my loan officer called me and informed me that I had ben approved for a home loan. I felt a lot less of a low life, so I was able to meet her with confidence. She may think we were friends at first, but you dont check out a friends perfect ass like that. We ended up going on a few "how long are we going to keep up this just friends charade" dates until on the way down the Siphon draw trail I asked her out, the next day we went out and the rest is domestic history!!!!! |
