Lisa and I wanted to thank you for taking a little time to visit this site. As most of you know, we are getting married by a waterfall (Cedar Falls Park, Fountain Inn SC) on October 18th. We are so excited about being married. I am quite surprised we have not just run off somewhere and just made it official. With that said, we are also really excited about this cruise.
I have been on 2 cruises …One, a decade ago and another back when I was in high school. Lisa has never been on a cruise. As a matter of fact, her first true vacation was just a couple years ago when we met. So, I am also excited about being with her when she experiences what a wonderful thing a cruise can be.
We see our marriage as a gift from God. Lisa had open heart surgery just months before we met. Those of you that know her well; or even just a little bit, understand what a kind, strong and thoughtful person she is. Even though she has had it tough, she remains one of the most precious people we have in our life. She makes everyone’s life better by being in our world. I have been given a lot of wonderful things in my life. I had extraordinary parents. They were taken from me way too young. I have had great professional opportunities and found some early success only to lose absolutely everything in 2009. My faith in God and mostly the good in folks made that a bit easier. Because each of us has seen hardship and have still tried to make our little slice of the world a better place, we feel that God brought us together as a reward.
Again, we sure do appreciate you taking a bit of time to visit our webpage. It means the world to us that we have such great friends and family. There is not a week that goes by that we stop and appreciate how great our life is because of all of you. We can not wait to spend the rest of our lives appreciating what a truly special gift it was that we found each other and continuing to enjoy being surrounded by the very best friends and family anyone could have.
