| I know, I know.... I have TOTALLY been slacking when it comes to keeping up with this blog. I blame it on our fantastic idea to get married in Grand Cayman. The company we are using handles all the planning for us, leaving me with VERY little to stress over at all. My bridal shower is next weekend, and I am very excited to see what Ms. Amy Moore has in store. Hopefully the new dress I ordered for this shower comes in on time and looks fantastic. Can't look all shabby for my bridal shower! I think its something like 32 days until the cruise ship leaves the port of Galveston..... Bring on the sunshine!
Save the date postcards were put into the mailbox last week. So hopefully most of you have received the cards and are finding your way to our wedding website! Getting married in Grand Cayman has to be one of the best ideas Derrell and I have ever had. The company we are using is fantastic. Joy Besedo of Simply Weddings has been a wonderful help coordinating all of the wedding day events. Visit her website here: http://www.simplyweddings.ky/ if you would like to view the beautiful sandy beaches and blue water that will be the gorgeous backdrop to our wedding ceremony. I can not wait for that clear blue water to tickle my toes as I marry the man I love. ![]() Welcome! Its been forever since I have blogged, but why not get back into the swing of things as wedding plans begin to unfold. As many of you have noticed, I finally decided to kick the planning into gear. I dont know why I didnt feel a sense of urgency until now; maybe I was just enjoying the idea of engagement, avoiding the stresses that are inevitable. Derrell and I are excited that so many of you have decided to join us on the Carnival Magic to celebrate our nuptials. Travel agent info can be found in the "Travel Information" tab to the left. We are booking with a great company called VacationsToGo, and hope you find Joey to be quite accommodating while making your arrangements. We hope you all enjoy this opportunity for a caribbean vacation aboard a brand new cruise ship! The most pressing decision to be made soon:: Colors for the invitations. We want to lean towards the tropical, but just havent made up our minds. Feel free to comment on what you think would make for lovely wedding colors! |
