My mother and I decided we wanted to go to Walt Disney World for "my birthday". We stayed at a Disney hotel and rode the bus to the park on that Friday morning. We were able to ride a few rides and then watch a stage show at Cinderella's Castle. We had brought birthday Mickey Mouse ears for me to take pictures in front of the castle with me wearing them. As the sun is burning my eyes, I go to sit down in front of Walt and Mickey, look to my right, and see Jesse walking towards me. My heart sinks to my feet and my stomach drops. I knew this was this moment. With my adrenaline running, I begin to cry, say yes to marrying the love of my life, and slip the beautiful engagement ring onto my finger. It was such a beautiful moment/surprise in my favorite place with my family.

Haley's mom and Haley went to Disney one weekend, keeping it a secret from Haley that I was going to be proposing to her. Haley's dad and I drove up, entered the park, and watched and waited for Haley to sit down in front of Cinderella's castle. I walked over to her, got down on one knee, expressed my love for her, and asked her to marry me.
