Robert and I had Valentine's dinner reservations at Perry's Steakhouse.  Dinner was great and on the way home, as we pulled into the subdivision of the house, Robert asked if we could take a walk down by the lake.  This was actually the exact same senario as the Valentine's the year before...dinner at Perry's and a walk down by the lake.   I said of course...super romantic and so sweet that he remembered our first Valentines date.   When we got to the boat dock we were looking around enjoying the lovely view of the lake.   We talked about how much we loved each other and how much we had grown to love each others children and what an amazing life we had started together. Before I knew what was happening, Robert asked me to marry him.   He actually got down on one knee and proposed.  It was the most sweetest, most romantic and most amazing unforgettable moment of my life.  

Lauren knows how to get right to the point. As a matter of fact…Lauren was my secret informant, helping me figure out what kind of ring her mother would like. By the next Valentines day, everything was ready. Standing in the same spot, I asked her for forever.
