The plan was to take a summer cruise to the bahamas for some much needed relaxation, little did I know it was an engagement getaway. After dinner on South Beach, I was asked to take a romantic walk a long the boardwalK, of course I agreed! Shortly into the walk the sound of the waves, the warmth of the air and the night air left me thinking how perfect the day had been. Until I was presented with a picture of book of various moments we had spent together. On the back of each picture were cute messages that made me smile. The last picture had the message "I can't wait until you have my last name." As I looked up i noticed he was holding a small box. I said aloud "this isn't real life!" He opened the box expressed his love, thankfullness and appreciation for me. "Kari, will you marry me?!" YES!!!
