We’ll be entertained by fire dancers, take part in the South Seas show, move to the island rhythms of Samoa, Fiji, Tahiti and Hawaii’s upbeat music while indulging in an authentic Hawaiian feast of freshly caught fish and other Hawaiian dishes, enhanced by tropical concoctions!

Pearl Harbor VIP Military Bases and WWII Battlefield

Enjoy a genuinely unique and personalized tour of World War II battlefields, including exclusive access to military bases, the USS Arizona Memorial, the Punchbowl Memorial and highlights of Honolulu City, all guided by historians in WWII uniforms, this fascinating and nostalgic look into the 1940s will be enhanced with authentic radio and TV footage, bulletins, movies and music played over the PA and onboard TVs. On this enlightening excursion we will begin our tour with a 30 minute drive to the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center where we will view a historical documentary film, with actual film footage, from December 7, 1941 before boarding the USS Arizona Memorial via a Navy shuttle boat. Follow the Japanese flight pattern to Oahus famous Fighter Command Post, Wheeler Army Airfield, where we will learn about the 14 Army Air Corps Pilots who went airborne on the Day of Infamy. Have the opportunity to photograph a P40 WWII fighter plane used in the movie Tora Tora Tora. Stop at the historic Schofield Army Barracks, the largest Army base outside the Continental U.S. and home to the famous 25th Infantry Tropic Lightning Division. Continue on to Fort Shafter where you will see the famous Quarters 5, residence of General Walter C. Short – Commander of the U.S. Army Pacific at the time of the attack. Drive along beautiful Palm Circle and visit the “Pineapple Pentagon,” Headquarters of the U.S. Army Pacific Command. Take a break and enjoy a buffet lunch at the Fort Shafter Military Club before continuing to the Punchbowl National Memorial, the final resting place of over 35,000 Americans who proudly served their country. See King Kamehamehas Statute and Iolani Palace, the only royal palace on American soil, as we drive through downtown Honolulu en route to our final stop, the nostalgic 1940s private museum Home of the Brave. View World War II memorabilia and have the opportunity to take our photograph in the WWII Jeep and the 1942 Army issue Harley Davidson® motorcycle used in the movie Pearl Harbor. End our journey through an era that changed the course of back at the cruise ship pier.

Continue on a 90-minute ride through the ancient Mahaulepu area popular to beach goers, wind surfers and local fishermen. Experience a variety of scenery and terrain including: ranch land, coastal and mountain vistas. Cross over a sand bar and stream. Travel past beaches and bays, and see native foliage and birds. Appreciate the cool breezes as you ride under the tall, shady ironwood trees. Listen as your guides share ancient legends and point out some of the sights.

Visit two of the beautiful waterfalls that make Hilo famous, enjoy a breathtaking scenic drive through an oceanside rain forest, and take a refreshing plunge in a private remote waterfall all on this small group excursion. On this excursion, we will begin your journey with the scenic highlights of Hilo on the drive to Rainbow Falls. Stroll through the banyan trees or just enjoy the view of the Falls before heading to the Onomea Bay Scenic Drive. Stop for breathtaking photo opportunities of the waves crashing in the Bay below us. Continue on to Akaka Falls, standing tall at 440 feet, and then drive off-road through cattle country on our way to a hidden jewel! Enjoy a 40-foot waterfall that tumbles into an unspoiled mountain pool, the perfect place to take a swim or kayak as your guides prepare a delicious Hawaiian BBQ lunch just for us! Swim, explore the old sugar cane flume trails adjacent to the waterfall or just relax in the private pavilion.
