Pirate Soul & Shipwreck Historeum

Together, we’ll explore the relics of swashbuckling pirates and discover the wrecking and salvage history of Key West! Our pirate guide will take us to Pirate Soul Museum, taking us back to Port Royal, Jamaica over 300 years ago where we’ll discover a historic adventure through the Golden Age of Piracy. We’ll learn about the lives of Captain Kidd’s last voyage, Captain Thomas Tew’s authentic pirate treasure, Blackbeard’s original blunderbuss, their rare pirate gold, cannonballs, maps and other artifacts. At Key West Shipwreck Historeum, Lumbers, Wreckers and Salvagers will tell us tales of 19th and early 20th Century maritime history before we’re entertained by the pirate show demonstrating the wrecking and salvaging business. We’ll also have free time to explore the museum and climb the 65-foot wrecking tower where we’ll take a memorable photo of our pirate adventure!
