Yep! It happened on a cruise ship! May 25, 2014 to be exact!

We were fortunate enough to have two good friends join us on our May 2014 cruise! Long story short, it was decided that we would get group pictures taken professionally. Our second night on board was the formal night; we decided that would be the best day to have them done! We got all gussied up and were lookin' good!

Our photo shoot took us all over the ship, and we worked our way outside where the photographer would capture some great photos with the ocean and the sun as the backdrop! It was Craig and I's turn again, I was instructed to turn and face the sun and Craig would be positioned behind me. A few seconds goes by and the photographer says "actually, the lighting isn't going to work right here, turn around and face me, we'll try something else." To my surprise as I turned around, there was Craig on one knee, with the ring!

After a few seconds of silence and me prematurely reaching for the ring, he finally speaks! However, the only thing he says is, "well?"

My reply was "well, what?" (I couldn't make it that easy on him...)

Finally, there it was...."Will you marry me?"

Of course I said YES, and here we are!

It was an incredible experience, that involved months of planning and cooordinating! He put a lot of thought into making it very special and we are fortunate to have documented proof of the moment it happend and the moments soon after!
