On the night of June 12th, 2020, Tabatha was cooking dinner and waiting for Tyler to get home from work. Tyler came home, and asked where their dog Wego was. He took Wego outside, like normal, while Tabatha continued to cook dinner. When Tyler came back inside with Wego, the puppy was wearing a tuxedo with the ring on it. Tyler told Tabatha to pick Wego up, and it was then that she saw the ring and started to tear up. Tyler said, "You get to marry me" and Tabatha said, "OK!" The two then hugged and kissed, and Tyler placed the ring on her finger. That night, they did not eat the tacos Tabatha made for dinner. Instead, they celebrated with some friends at Patrick's Pub in Chillicothe, and then had dinner at The Dock (one of their favorite restaurants in town)!

The story behind the ring:

Tyler and Tabatha visited E.M. Smith Jewelers on June 11th, 2020 to look for watches for Tyler. While in the store, Tabatha was pointing out different items that she would love to have for their anniversary coming up. Tabatha showed Tyler a necklace and earrings, and mentioned to the man behind the counter that she loved one of the rings while Tyler was supposedly looking at watches. Little did Tabatha know, he was actually paying attention. The next day, Tyler went back to the store and purchased the ring with the help of the same man that was working the day before. It turned out to be the ring Tabatha said she loved! That night, he proposed!
