| Dear Family & Friends, We are very excited about our upcoming wedding and hope that you will be able to join us to share in this special day! The ceremony will be held onboard the Carnival Imagination before we set sail. A unique feature of a cruise ship wedding is the special requirements that guests must follow due to government and cruise line regulations. We hope that these requirements do not inconvenience you in any way. 1. We must submit a complete guest list with the date of birth and legal name of each guest attending our wedding. Therefore, we do need to receive your completed R.S.V.P. on this site no later than August 21, 2017 . 2. All guests are required to provide photo identification such as a driver’s license or passport in order to board the ship. Children under the age of sixteen must bring a birth certificate (issued by the Department of Vital Statistics). 3. Please view the travel information on this site for directions and parking garage information. 4. Although the ceremony will be held at approximately 1:00 p.m., please arrive at the Port no later than 10:30 a.m. Priority boarding is given to our wedding guests as soon as the ship clears customs, which can take up to an hour. There are no food or beverage options until we board the ship so please plan accordingly. If you are a non-sailing guest and do not arrive by 10:30 am you might not be able to board the ship!! If your a sailing guest and do not arrive by 10:30 am you might not be able to get priority boarding. 5. All non-sailing guests should be completely dressed and ready for the wedding when arriving at the cruise terminal. We will add you to the guest list which will include your legal name and birth date. You will need to provide your State issued photo ID at the time of check in, please have it available. You will leave your ID with security in the terminal and be given a guest pass to board the ship. 6. Sailing guests should be completely dressed and ready for the wedding when arriving at the cruise terminal. Your stateroom might still be in the process of being cleaned. Only the Bride and Grooms cabin is guareented to be ready. Please ensure that all ticket documents are completed prior to arrival at the pier to expedite check in and have proper boarding documents available. ( If you do not have a valid passport you must provide a copy of a birth certificate issued by a government agency (state/county/city) or the Department of Health and Vital Statistics and a Drivers license or Government issued ID). 7. Once we are allowed to board, the wedding party will prepare for the ceremony while guests will have the chance to explore the ship. The Imagination is a ship designed to pay tribute to fantasy and ancient legends, its décor provides a timeless backdrop for modern-day cruise ship delight . We understand it is an experience not to be missed, so please enjoy your time on board! Non-sailing guests will debark the ship immeadiately after lunch at the Lido buffet. 8. Your presence at our wedding is gift enough. However, Carnival has asked us to inform our guests that any gifts brought onboard will be subject to duty fees in accordance with U.S. Customs regulations. If you feel led to provide a gift, you may want to consider one of the following gifts listed here on the registry or delivery to our home address. If you are unable to attend our wedding in person, we ask you to keep us in your thoughts and prayers as you will be in ours. We hope to see you soon!
