Really, it is.
Sean and I met five years ago at a weekly CBT group meeting. When I first laid eyes on him, I felt THAT feeling. You know, being wrapped in a fuzzy, plush blanket that melts the chill away? The feeling that leaves you fumbling for words and sweating profusely?
After several weeks of attending the meeting, I realized Sean was different to the Familiar. I was intrigued. I had to get to know him. Attempting to be cool, I offered him one of my business cards with something to the effect of "Call me".
He didn't.
A week later, I learned why.The business card I had given him was deffective.
It didn't have my phone number on it.
So for the proposal, I went straight for the jugular. No glam. No subtle hints. I just asked.
