Welcome

Every engagement comes with an incredible story.  This love story is no different.  You may be asking yourself, blah blah blah... you asked, she said yes and so on...  Well, the end result may have been predictable, how we got there is not.

It all began with a group hanging out after work.  Two people start talking, not on a date but it sure felt like one.  The spark, butterflies and beginning of wondering of what the possibilities may bring.

You would think that a man who has been down this road before would be able to deliver a knock out of a proposal...  Well... Once I had decided to take the ultimate risk and propose to Brandi, I had to ask myself, How?  Brandi deserved a great story to tell.

During our time together, my 3 year old, Jordan, discovered the movie "Frozen".  Brandi, Leah (Brandi's daughter), Jordan and I got to know every song and watched the movie many, many times.  We sang that song, "Love is an Open Door" at home, in the car, at the Disney store, in fact whenever it played.  The girls sang their part and I would sing mine. Now you are saying to yourself, I know exactly how the proposal went down... Wrong.

At first, I did want to plan a time to play the song, have each of us sing our part and at the end present the ring.  As fate would have it, I attempted it about 6 times with the ring in my pocket.  Each time before the song ended, someone,  hmmm (Brandi), would skip to another song before the end.

Finally, I thought to myself, forget this... The morning before my Birthday, we scheduled an appointment for Christmas pictures with the kids.  I could not think of a better time to make them a "Family" memory.  Brandi had just gotten up and went to our room to get ready for the photo shoot, I brought Jordan with me to the bedroom and then after telling Brandi how much she meant to us, I was already on one knee, presented a 3/4 ct Emerald cut diamond ring and asked her if she would do us the honor and marry me.

We know what happened next, or this is the longest build up for a tragedy.  She said yes and immediately put on the ring.  And now we are prepared to build our life together.

Now to the good part...  We are getting married, September 19, 2015 in Miami, Fl at 1pm on the Carnival Cruise Ship Victory.

We are excited to have our families join us to celebrate the union of these two families.

Leah Cooper will be the Maid of Honor and Ed Oliver is the Best Man.

After the wedding we will be sailing for 5 days to the Bahamas, Half Moon Caye and Grand Turk.

Thank you to everyone who has supported our relationship! We appreciate you!
