Our proposal is a memory that I will forever cherish in my memories, Nathan made it truly unforgetable! We were cruising with Carnival on the Triumph ship from New Orleans to Cozumel and Progresso. On Tuesday night, our formal dinner, Nathan dressed up in his nice pants and button up shirt, with a tie that we bought at the ship store because we forgot to pack him one. I was wearing blue dress, the same one I wore the night of our first date. We got to dinner, had our food and ordered our dessert. It didn't come for quite some time, and that was odd because our waiter was very prompt at bringing our food to us. However, I noticed that my family at the table were all staring at me and conversation had gone silent. Our waiter brought me a plate and sat it down in front of me. I told him that must not be mine, and I will wait until the rest of the table gets their food. But the waiter insisted on me taking the cover off the plate. When I took it off, I unfolded the napkin that was covering a small box. I looked beside me and Nathan was down on one knee, and I looked at my mom who was already in tears. Through pure shock, I managed to mutter yes before he could even get the question out. I was in such shock and awe of the moment. It was something that I had dreamed of since I was a little girl, and I was finally getting my moment with the man of my dreams! I'm so happy Carnival was a part of our proposal and will now be a part of our honeymoon!
