We're trying to get these pages up as quickly as possible, and apologize for any delays. As of 8/13/2014 our Registry is fully functional and all items have been added. This page is to explain how it all works, because it's a little different from what most of you are probably used to doing for wedding gifting. 

   As I think you all know, we've registered for our Honeymoon Cruise. Carnival gives us the option to choose between certain amenities and Trip Contribution. We've chosen to register for two of the amenities and then two different price points of the Trip Contribution gift(the lowest option they allow is a gift of $25.00, so we did that and a gift of $50.00). We've already chosen a cruise, a cruise date and put the deposit down. Carnival has a balance due date of November 3,2014. Any Trip Contribution made by November 2,2015 will go directly towards the balance of the cruise. We will pay the remainder on the due date. 

  Any Trip Contribution gifts made after that date will go to our "On Board Credit" account. On Board Credit can be used to purchase anything sold on the ship This includes alcoholic beverages, playing casino games, specialty cafe drinks(cappuccinos!), dinner at one of the Premium Specialty Restaurants, Pictures, or anything in the on board shops(which include a candy store! lol). Any On Board Credit left at the end of the trip is given directly to us through Carnival in check form after the cruise. 

   The Picture gift option goes to the photographs taken professionally on board. Two examples of these are the pictures on our Welcome Page. Let me tell you, in case you've never been, they take about a gazillion photos while you're there! All different backgrounds and poses, different photographers, several nights through out the cruise. They charge $20.00 plus tax for an 8x10. Last time we cruised we narrowed it down to 2 that we liked most out of all those pictures through the entire cruise and bought those. Since it will be our Honeymoon, we might want to have a few more to keep as memories.

  The Specialty Restaurant gift option goes towards dinner at one the special, extra fancy, 5 star chef restaurant which aren't included with the cruise.  This would be a special treat for us. I'm not sure the price of a meal at them, but this gift goes directly towards that. lol Don't worry though, we won't starve because all the rest of the food places are included(Oh my gosh do I want a Guy's Burger right now! More on that later though! lol)
