After High School, we both ventured to Dayton to attend Wright State University for College. We also both decided to get a job to help pay for college, which coincidentally happened to be the same one, Texas Roadhouse!

We worked together for over a year before we even noticed eachother, or got up the nerve to talk to eachother! However, one night, at right about closing time, Jake made me a sweet deal. He offered to help me clean my section if I agreed to let him buy me a drink after work. Freaking SCORE. Obviously, I said yes! We went over to a nearby hole-in-the-wall bar, One Eyed Jacks. He ordered a Bud Light, and I ordered a Budwieser (which he says to this day was how he knew I was a "cool chick" hahaha). We sat and talked for hours, it seemed, but someone *cough cough, Jake* had to get up early because he was in the Police Academy. 

That next week, he was going home for break. As soon as he got home though, he hopped on his dad's motorcycle rode it back to Dayton, showed up at my apartment, and took me out on a date! The rest is history. We have been inseperable ever since.

I knew he was the one before he did, I think.. but he said "I Love You" first, so we will let him think he knew before me ;)

We have been so many places together, made so many memories, gone on countless adventures, and have fallen so deeply in love that I can't imagine being able to love him more than I do now. Somehow, I keep falling more in love with him every day. It is crazy to me that this is just the beginning of Our Story! We tell eachother, every day, how lucky we are to have found one another. I truly hope that everyone gets a chance to experience the kind of love that we have found in eachother. It is the most selfless, incredible, earth-shaking, fun, sweet and sassy, better-than-chocolate, kind of love. 

I can't imagine my life with anyone else, and I can't wait to finally be able to call him my Husband!
