Ringing in the New Year was extra special in 2018 because that's when Josh proposed. I was AMAZED! I always thought Josh would propose on one of our hikes. On a few of those hikes I remember thinking to myself there better a diamond at the end of this. I knew marriage was in our future, but I didn't know Josh's plan. 

I decided to plan my proposal while celebrating New Year's Eve of 2018 with friends from Louisville, Kentucky.  Kelli had thrown some ideas around about the type of ring she may like when the time was right, shortly after Christmas.  A couple of days later, I made a purchase that I knew would be the best investment of my life.  The night of the proposal was nerve wracking, but I knew exactly what to say once I hit one knee.
