Carnival Cruise

We are cruising out of Port Canveral, FL on January 20,2020 on the Carnival Liberty. The ship will travel to Nassau, Bahamas and Half Moon Cay, Bahamas before returning on Friday January 24, 2020 to Port Canaveral.

We will be staying in an oceanview room on Deck 1 but encourage everyone to book anywhere they like on the ship.

Please book your cruise on www.Carnival.com asap. Let me know your booking number once you are booked.

How are we getting to Florida?

Alan and I are planning to leave Atlanta Saturday (01/18/20). We will be headed to my parents house to spend the night. Sunday Morning we are headed to Florida to spend the day exploring the Kennedy Space Center. We would love for you to join if you plan to be in Florida ahead of the cruise.

Hotel

We are choosing to spend Sunday night at a local hotel. We are choosing to go this route to ensure that we have plenty of time to make the embarcation day should anything arrise. Also most Hotels near the port allow you to leave your car in their extended parking while you are on the cruise. They even have shuttles that will take you to the port and pick you up on deparkation day.

Once we have booked our hotel I will update the information here incase you would like to join us.

Drive to the Port on Embarcation Day

For those of you planning to drive straight to the port on Monday, I have suggested the parking option that we usually use below. Carnival heavily suggests that you arrive to your port city a day in advance. This give you plenty of time to overcome any challenges life may throw your way last minute. You can park at the Port but it is pricey! Park Port Canaveral is a great option. The parking lot is not covered but it mornitored 24/7. The staff there has always been friendly and the shuttles run constantly on embarcation and deparkation day.

Flying into the port

If you plan to fly to the port you will need to fly into the Orlando, FL airport. If you are flying in on embarcation day you can set up, through Carnival, your transportation to and from the port. Of couse Lyft and Uber would also be happy to help.
