12/30/2019   ONLY 21 DAYS TIL WE SAIL!!!

Hi everyone! Just wanted to check in with everyone on some updates. 

As a reminder Alan and I are checking in to the port/ship Monday (01/20/20) from 12:00pm - 12:30pm, which is the arrival time we selected when we did our online check in back in October. We are planning to arrive in Florida on Sunday (01/19/20) and will stay in an AirBnb for the night. We are driving to Park Port Canaveral Monday morning to park our car for the week and catch the shuttle to the port terminal. 

About embarkation Day:

When you get to the port, you will turn in your luggage to be loaded onto the ship for you by the staff. You can carry on luggage if you wish but it is a long gangway that it straight uphill. I typically give them all my luggage minus a backpack. Rooms are not avaiable to you onboard until 1pm. They are still cleaning them from the last cruise that ended that morining. 

Make sure that you have your ID/Passport/Birth Certificate ready to show like 20 different people before boarding the ship. You will also need to have the paperwork you printed from online check in that has the barcode at the top. 

Make sure all of your luggage has the luggage tags they gave you to print. It is best to print in color! Make sure to attach to your luggage before you arrive to port!

10/22/2019    CHECK IN ONLINE!!!

Good Morning! Today is the day to check in online. You will set up preferences like dining times, bed preferences, Sail and Sign Card Accounts, and Port Arrival Time. 

I went with Anytime Dining and an Arival time of 12:00 - 12:30pm

Checking in early gets you the options you want. If you wait they may not be available!

10/21/2019   REMINDER!!!!

Tomorrow (10/22/2019) is when you can check in online.

Doing this early ensures you get the resevations and dinning times that you want. You will go through the onboarding process and be able to print off boarding information.

Durring checkin they will have you go ahead and pick you dinning time. We encourage everyone to pick Anytime dinning.

You will also go ahead and fill out your ID information and what card you want your Sail and Sign card to debit from.

If you haven't already, download the Carnival Hub app to your phone. It is helpful now and is almost nessessary on the cruise.
