Layne & Avery met at Pizza Joint in Evans, GA on St. Patrick's Day.  The couple had a few mutual friends they begin to talk daily. They quickly realized they lived in the same neighborhood and went to the same High School.  Layne & Avery then found that there was a mutual love for cruising between them and managed to squeeze in a few trips pretty quickly.  One cruise specifically stands out because that is where they got engaged. Layne's 30th birthday was celebrated on the Carnival Liberty with a few friends and family. They had a birthday pinata and when Layne took off her blindfolds Avery was on his knee proposing. As soon as Layne saw him she tackled him and the ring fell out. The ring was quickly recovered from the deck and of course she said "YES!"
