1. Do I need a passport?

For all required travel documentation please see the Carnival website or contact Brooke at 1-888-218-3378 x101.  Passports are not generally required for US Citizens, however, an original birth certificate and valid photo ID will be necessary for those individuals traveling without a passport.

2. Do I need to book a cruise to attend the wedding celebration?

Due to time limitations we have chosen not to wed prior to embarkation the day we sail.  To partcipate in the wedding ceremony and reception all guests must cruise with the wedding party.  Unable to cruise?  No problem.  Please join us in celebrating our engagment on July 23rd 2016.  Or you may join the happy couple in Port Canaveral on Sept. 20th, 2017 for a pre-cruise Bon Voyage Party to celebrate our wedding.

3. May I book my own travel arrangements through my personal planner or online?

Absolutely! Please feel free to do your own research to ensure you receive the best rates possible. Should you choose to book seperately from the group booking please tell the bride and groom no later than 45 days prior to sailing.  This will allow the bride time to add you to the guest list so you can attend th wedding ceremony.  Should you book a "last minute rate" less than 45 days from embarkation you may not be able to attend the ceremony, however, all other wedding activities will be available.

4. What are the benefits of using the established travel agent, Brook, of Cruisingweddings.com?

To enjoy the benefits of the rooms blocked for the Knight/Mezzapelle Wedding you must book using the group booking through CruisingWeddings.com.  The bride chose Brook, of cruisingweddings.com, for her 16 years experience and excellent customer service.  Utilizing one travel agent to book all travel arrangments ensures the entire group receives early saver fares, personal service, and Carnivals Best Price Guarantee.  In addition, Brook will confirm each member of the party receives all available upgrades and cruise perks available while ensuring the entire party receives dinner reservations and appropriate table assignments (don't want to sit next to Aunt Flo? Just let Brook know). Brook is also available to offer assistance with airfare and hotel accomodations.  This allows the bride more time to enjoy wedding acitivities.

5. What is the expected wedding ceremony attire?

We want you to be comfortable but this is a wedding.  Please plan on wearing classy cruise attire to the wedding ceremony.  Examples include khakis and a button-down shirt for the guys and sundresses or slacks for the ladies.  Please no swim suits or shorts.  Lets leave the swim wear for the pool - we have all weekend to get a tan. Don't forget your dancing shoes for the reception!

6. May I bring friends or family?

Please feel free to invite friends or family to enjoy the group booking rates and specials available during our wedding cruise celebration.  Everyone is welcome to enjoy the many wedding activites as well as scheduled activities available through Carnival's Fun Ship.  We must limit the guest attending the wedding ceremony, however, to those friends and families originally invitied by the bride and groom.  This is due to limited availablity based on our chosen ceremony site.  Small Children are also encouraged to enjoy the activities offered through Carnival's Kid Club during the ceremony.  Lets face it...Wedding Ceremony's are boring for little ones.  And great receptions are exactly kid-friendly. Please feel free to invite any adult guests to be "wedding crashers" during the reception.

7. May I bring alcohol to enjoy on the ship?

All sailing guest over the age of 21 can legally bring one bottle of wine on-board the day of embarkation. All other alcohol is prohibited and may be confiscated by Carnival Cruise Line Security.  For those that try... good luck!  Those attending the wedding ceremony and reception will enjoy an open bar with top shelf liquer, beer, and wine during the reception.  And don't forget about the drink packages.....

8. Did someone say drink packages?

Carnival offers a number of drink packages for your enjoyment.  Drink packages range from unlimited non-alcoholic options for those quieter souls, a wine package for those classy ETOH consumers, and unlimited beer and alcohol for the party animals in our group.  Prices range between 12.00 to 50.00 per day per person.  ***PLEASE NOTE - All adult members of the cabin must book a unlimited drink package to qualify.  There is a few ways around this... please contact the bride for additional tips.

9. What can I expect on my wedding celebration cruise?

Carnival is known as the "Fun Ship".  There will be various scheduled activities you may participate in daily.  Examples include trivia constest, bingo, belly flop contests, and comedy clubs.  In addition, the wedding party will schedule a daily activity you may enjoy.  But remember....this is your vacation!  You can partcipate as much as or as little as you want.  Do you prefer to relax by the pool all day?  Ok, go for it!  The wedding couple wants each of their guests to have fun.  We won't be offended if you stay in your room all day (although we may tease you a bit when it is all said and done).  Please sit back, relax, grab your favorite fruity drink, and enjoy your vacay!  We're glad you chose to celebrate with us!

10. I have more questions.  Who do I ask?

Still have questions? No problem.  Brook, our travel agent is an experienced wedding coordinator who is familiar with all things Carnival.  Feel free to call her with any questions at 1-888-218-3378 x 101.  Additional sources of information we suggestions include:
