Pablo and Abriella first crossed paths at Meramec Elementary School.

It was staff week, before the start of the 2018-2019 school year. Abriella was setting up her new classroom for her very first year of teaching when Pablo and a small group of other teachers came in to introduce themselves and welcome her to the building and team. Pablo caught Abriella’s eye almost immediately.

Aubri was so excited to get to know all her coworkers but was especially intrigued by Pablo and his unwavering passion for elementary education. It helped that he had a cute laugh, too.

Over the course of the next two years, the two grew to know each other more professionally and personally and started spending time together. It didn’t matter if he was talking, studying, or laughing with Aubri, Pablo just couldn't get enough.

When the coronavirus pandemic hit in 2020, they started dating and have been together ever since. In August of 2021, Pablo purchased their home on the south side of St. Louis, MO and both have accomplished tremendous goals in their field of education. Pablo received the 2022 STEM Teacher of the Year Award and Aubri secured several high dollar grants for Meramec and Pablo’s YouTube, reading channel. Both earned their master’s degrees and Pablo is currently pursuing his doctoral degree in education.  Their weekends now mostly consist of brainstorming business ideas, visiting family, or planning their next big travel adventure.

Pablo proposed to Abriella this past Thanksgiving on the beautiful beach in Cozumel, Mexico. The pair are planning their dream wedding and can't wait to see everyone in Las Vegas this March!
