Looking back, we have had a pretty crazy ride. It all started at Skateland, the local roller rink, when both of us meet through a mutual friend. I had walked up with a group of my friends to say 'Hi' to an old friend when I first met Dylan's gaze... if that's what you would call putting a feminine product into a Monster energy drink and getting it stuck when trying to pull it out. Dylan likes to say that the shear look in his eye was "love at first sight" but I think we all know that it was just embarrassment. It was in this moment that we both knew we had to be together.

Of course we had chatted and texted for months before actually meeting in person again. What we both SWORE would only last two months tops turned into 10 years, an apartment in Oregon, the best bearded dragon, our favorite Meatball, and our soon-to-be marriage. Each year we have made it a point to visit the local 7/11 convenience store on our anniversary to get our Free Slurpee. Heck, Dylan even proposed in one as a surprise! After all these years, we both know that our love is something truly out of a fairy tale - or maybe a Netflix original - but it is ours and neither of us can wait for the many more years and adventures this crazy life has for us!
