 | | We met on August 21, 2010 for our blind date! He came and picked me up at my house and we headed to fast lanes to gator golf and to do some bowling. Of course you know on a first date, how you are so nervous and usually very quiet? Well that wasnt the case for us, i am one of those type of women that cannot stand akward silence, so from the moment i got into the vehicle I had him talking to me. When we got to gator golf I warned him how competitive I can be, and he agreed that he was the same way. So we started our gator golf game and well we stay pretty tied up until the end, where at the last hole i got a "hole in one" so I won the game! Which like any man, will still try and lie about it and say he "let me win" Then we headed in to bowl and again I warned him I was going to win. Well it didnt happen that way, we played three times and he beat me all three times (bowling isnt my game). We had so much fun I didnt want the night to end, but like a gentleman when the night did end he dropped me off at my house and went home. The next night was my birthday, and he asked if he could take me to dinner for my birthday, and of course I said yes! We went to Shoguns (which it was my first time ever eating there). We talked and laughed the whole time; he even kept joking with me that he was going to tell the chef that it was my birthday so they would make me stand on my chair while they played a birthday song and everyone sang to me (and I warned him that I would never forgive him so he didnt). After dinner we went down dickson and had a couple beers and then ended the night going to watch a movie at his house and falling asleep. Ever since that weekend, we have been inseperable and I couldnt imagine my life without him. He is an amazing man and treats me like a princess in so many ways. I am very thankful to be marrying my best friend. . | | Maid of Honor: Debbie Burley Best Man: Brandon Scott
