We have finally set a date for our nuptials! The wedding will take place on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Port Canaveral on-board the Carnival ship, "Sensation". We invite you to join us in the wedding ceremony, reception, and celebratory cruise on August 6-9, 2015. You can respond to us immediately by e-mail or on our wedding website under “RSVP”. ·      All guests NEED a (1) birth certificate AND state issued picture ID (e.g., drivers license) - OR - (2) passport (is helpful, but isn’t required for Caribbean cruises).  

·      All guests MUST arrive to the port at 10:15 AM EST. We will proceed independently through security (much like airport security), and then we will gather in a designated area, just for the “Kahrs Jann Wedding Group”, where we will be guided onto the ship.

Travel on Wednesday night or Thursday morning:

·      If you fly into Orlando airport “MCO” (45 min from Port Canaveral), or plan to travel through Orlando, please let us know because we can help coordinate where you stay (e.g., at Alex’s and Katie’s house, or near by hotel) and/or how you can travel to Port Canaveral.

·      If you are traveling from nearby, you can meet us at the Port (see below).

o   The Kahrs live near TPA airport, which is 2 hr 30 min to Port Canaveral

o   The Janns live near RSW airport, which is 3 hr 30 min to Port Canaveral

·      If case you wish to stay near the port on Wednesday night, hotels are located nearby Port Canaveral and are posted at the bottom of this page.

Thursday:

·      10:15 AM Arrive at port

·      10:30 AM Meet group in designated “Jann Kahrs Wedding” Group areaàboard the ship!

·      Explore the ship; settle into rooms

·      12:30 PM Ceremony

·      1:00 PM Reception

·      3:00 PM Guests who will not sail with us disembark ship; guests who will be sailing with us continue the celebration!

·      8:15 PM Dinner as a group in dinning room

Friday:

·      Noon-8:00 PM: Fun day in Nassau, Bahamas

·      8:15 PM Casual dinner as a group in dinning room

Saturday:

·      Fun day at sea

·      Time TBD: Group cocktail hour

·      8:15 PM Formal dinner as a group in dinning room

Sunday:

·      8:00 AM Arrive back to Port Canaveral

·      Enjoy breakfast; say good bye to ship

·      Aprox. 10:30 AM – noon: Disembark ship
