Erik and I met a little over three years ago at the place where I was working. We started dating and things were a little rocky. We both joined the Military July of 2006-and got engaged when we were finally able to see each other over Christmas of that year... after a couple months and trying to do the "long distance relationship" we called it quits-though we still stayed intouch. We both went to Iraq-he finished his tour-I was medically discharged. Though there was miles between us-we both felt the connection and missed eachother. This past march we traveled up to Michigan and re-kindled our relationship with eachother. Three weeks later I moved to Killeen Texas to be with him. Erik and I have had our fights and have had our battles. But no matter what happens we know we were meant to be. Our feelings for one another have stayed strong even after so much distance and time. We know that our relationship is one-of-a-kind and that it is truly meant to be :)
