I proposed to Kristen on January 4th, 2009, while taking one of our random trips to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. I already knew that I loved Kristen with all of my heart, and couldn’t live without her, but at the time I proposed I didn’t have a ring, and was kind of nervous as to what she might say. From that day forward she and I have spent everyday together, and each day that we spend with each other, the stronger our bond becomes and the deeper we fall. I couldn’t imagine life without Kristen. I love everything about her. We appreciate each other for who we are and how we treat each other. She is the truest and most sincere person, and I aspire everyday to catch up with her uniquely, genuine personality. I love you Kristen!************
Thad is the most amazing and sweetest person I have ever met in my life and I am so lucky that he is my best friend. I have never been happier and have no idea what I did to deserve him but thank my lucky stars he thinks I am great. I have never met someone so genuine and I adore his silly personality~ we have so much fun doing the dumbest things!ha He gets me like no one in the world ever has and we both have a passion for travel and have so many plans. The day he proposed to me was like a dream~ I didn't think a love this strong was possible~ I have never been the romantic type but I can’t help but be that way with him!
For our wedding ceremony, we decided to have a destination wedding in Mexico Beach, Florida. Our goal is to make our wedding a special occasion for ourselves, of course, but our friends and families as well. We want to be able to look back on our ceremony and smile, knowing that everyone had an awesome time. Our ceremony is going to be barefoot on a private beach outside the beach house that we rented. We both are beach bums and envision a casual and fun vacation for our guests. The reception will reflect us completely~ laid back with close friends and family relaxing and soaking up the sun.
We are arriving in Mexico beach on June 13th and staying til the 20th. The bachelorette/bachelor parties will be wednesday the 17th . I would love for all ya'll to spend the week or as many days as u can with us vacationing and relaxing before the big day! There are alot of accommodations options to choose from in that area. There are state parks with campsites and cabins, motels, condos, campgrounds, townhomes and vacation houses to choose from. Panama City Beach is 45 minutes away but that's a stretch if ya drinkin ; ) Port St. Joe also very close by.
