Carnival Cruise Lines - Powered by Honeymoon Wishes
Mara Kubly & Barry Thompson
Location: Jacksonville
Our wedding will take place on October 3rd of 2009 on the cruise ship Fascination before the ship sails for five days in the Bahamas. We're looking forward to a fun and exciting day!

If you are coming to the wedding please be sure to see the section on travel arrangements for important information.

For our guests on the cruise there will be a short reception after the ceremony before we sail but we would like to celebrate with all of our family and friends so we are planning a reception when we return. Save the date!; October 10th 2009 we will have a traditional reception at Wildcat Lanes in Verona. We will be sending everyone invitations in the next few months.
Because Carnival wants us at the pier by 10:30 a.m. to board we recommend staying in Jacksonville the night before the ceremony. We've blocked off several rooms at the La Quinta Inn in Jacksonville FL. The rooms are $52 a night and are available to book beginning 9-30 if you elect to go down early. This group rate is for rooms with two full sized beds up to four adults per room, includes breakfast, an outdoor pool, a shuttle to/from the airport, and to/from the pier*.

To book a room call La Quinta before 9-9-2009 at 800-642-4239 and give them confirmation number 0637GRKZZY as members of the Kubly/Thompson Wedding party.

*Shuttle to the pier is first come first serve basis and you will need to reserve a spot on it when you check in. The hotel is just ten minutes from the pier so if you are unable to get on the shuttle a cab should be relatively inexpensive.
We received a letter for our guests from Carnival regarding some important info for our guests...
