Our Story
Michael and I met on Match.com, the internet dating site. I was lucky girl number 10. When we finally decided to meet, I had 2 softball games. I played the first game and rushed home to take a shower and get ready to meet him at the Carolina Ale House in Raleigh. The date went well and we decided to go out again, this time we went to a nice restaurant for dinner (the Twisted Fork). After that date, Michael left for Indiana and then I went to NY for my 10 year high school class reunion. We didn't see each other for a month. On the third date we decided to go bowling, not a good idea as i ended up bowling a 256 and now he won't ever bowl with me again! At least I didn't scare him off by beating him so badly since we were inseparable ever since :-)
We were engaged on May 31, 2008 on the beach at Fort Fisher, Kure Beach, NC. I was so excited I forgot to say yes! He had to ask me again about half an hour later.
Our Wedding
Join us aboard the Carnival Dream sailing the Eastern Caribbean for a week full of fun! The ship sets sail July 17th through July 24th, 2010 from Port Canaveral, Florida. The wedding ceremony will be on the beach at Emerald Beach Resort in St. Thomas at 4:00pm on July 20, 2010 (http://www.emeraldbeach.com/).
Our Reception
The reception will be immediately following the ceremony at Emerald Beach Resort in St. Thomas, USVI. We will return to the ship at 7:00pm for an 8:00pm departure.
Travel Arrangements
We have reserved rooms aboard the Carnival Dream through cruise consultant Jeff Weingard with ECruises. To reserve your room, please contact Jeff at 1-800-223-6868 EXT 114. When making your reservations, please mention the Jarvis/Scaringelli wedding to get the agreed upon rate. The following information is required when making your reservation: Full Names of all people in room (as listed on Passport or Birth Certificate), Dates of Birth of all people in room, Address, Email Address, Phone Number, and Credit Card Number. A deposit of $250 per person is required at time of reservation, the remainder of the balance will be due by April 18, 2010. If you book after April 18th the whole amount is due when making the reservation. The earlier you book, the better the rates. If you will be leaving a car behind, the rate will be $129 per night + tax. For each additional person in the room a $10 charge will be assessed. This hotel is located approximately 1/2 mile from the Port and about 45 minutes from the airport. Shuttle service is available to the port for $4 per person.
