Our story is like many others....girls sees boy, boy sees girl, boy takes five years to realize she is the one.В Tyler and I (Amber) first met as he was helping my new roomates, who happened to be his friends, move into our new house in Hidden Valley, Calgary.В I was introduced to him as he was standing on the back of the moving truck and there was something about the glint/sparkle in his eye that I knew he was somebody I wanted to know better.В I could say that it was love at first sight, but it took us a couple of months to realize it.В We began a wonderful friendship of eating, drinking and playing videogame golf at Boston Pizza with our other good friends.В I am not talking like getting together once a week, I am talking at least four to five times a week. I would tease Tyler about dating me but he would always say "you are to good of a friend for me to date."В He finally caved (June 14, 2003) one night at Boston Pizza and the rest is history. We have been together ever since.В Tyler proposed to me on the banks of the Missouri River on our summer vacation (July 30, 2008). He told me he had a question for me and pulled out a ring on his middle finger (typical Tyler).В I took the ring and started to place it on my right hand and said "thanks." I thought he had found a ring I misplaced during our move back to Calgary and the question was going to be "Did you lose/misplace this?" I knew something was wrong and he took the ring off and put it onto my left ring finger and said "no it goes on this hand."В Ooops! I said yes without even letting him ask me. It took him five years to ask I was not about to give him a chance to change his mind. We are very lucky to have met eachother and I know we both are looking forward to spending the rest of our lives together.

We are looking forward to getting married next year on October 10th.

I (Amber) have a little bit of OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) so the planning is well on its way only two weeks into the engagement.В We want it to be a nice and memorable experience for both of us and our guests.В

Tyler and I are planning on taking a cruise to the Mexican Riveira the day following our wedding. It should be a memorable, adventurous and relaxing time. Please see our registry for some unique gift ideas.

Tyler and I are very excited to get married and start our lives as husband and wife and we look forward to sharing this with all of our family and guests. Thank you for visiting our site and we are looking forward to seeing all of you at our wedding. Hugs and Kisses XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO
